    I worked with John Crossin when he was at the USCCB and I liked him a great deal. I found him to be incredibly intelligent, caring and hardworking. He cared deeply about ecumenism and realized that advancing the cause of Christian unity was not only dependent on deepening theological understanding, but also in cultivating relationships and authentic sharing. He will be missed.
