The CTSA Tutti Fund Funded by a generous gift from the Callaghan-Pierog Family Foundation and CTSA members like you. Please consider making a donation in support of the CTSA Tutti Fund. |
Thanks to the generosity of a gift from the Callaghan-Pierog Family Foundation, Catholic Theological Society of America has established the Tutti Fund to offset the costs of attending the annual convention by covering recipients’ registration, John Courtney Murray banquet ticket, and one network meal held during the convention timeframe, whether or not they are presenting at the convention. Priority will be given to those who have had positions cut due to institutional and programmatic closures and who demonstrate financial need. Others demonstrating financial need are also eligible to apply. Recipients of a Dolores L. Christie Convention Scholarship will not be eligible for the smaller convention subsidy offered by the Tutti Fund in the same year.
Priority will be given to those who apply by March 1; the number of scholarships awarded will be based upon the available funds donated in support of the Tutti Fund.
1. Any current full or associate member of the CTSA.
2. Any prospective member who has an application for full or associate membership on file with the CTSA Secretary by the March 1st application deadline. Important: Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements and be actively applying for associate or full membership at the convention for which they request funds.
1. Applications received by March 1 will be reviewed by the Scholarship and Subsidy Subcommittee of the CTSA Board of Directors. This Sub-committee consists of the CTSA Treasurer and two board members appointed by the President.
2. The Scholarship and Subsidy subcommittee will review the applications and present its recommendations to the CTSA Board of Directors for their final approval at its March meeting. Awards will be determined based on the candidate’s statement (requested on the application form) and demonstrated financial need. Priority will be given to applicants who are facing financial hardship due to program/institutional closures.
3. Following the full board’s decision, the Chair of the Scholarship and Subsidy Subcommittee will inform all applicants whether they have been awarded a registration/banquet remission or not.
1. Attendance - Awardees must attend the entire CTSA convention.
2. Tutti Fund awardees must register for the annual convention on or before May 1.
3. At the close of the convention, the awardee must submit the Tutti reimbursement request form by July 31.
